Ellie’s Guest Book

I have so many wonderful memories of Gramma. She was a beautiful, warm, caring, generous, funny, and inspirational woman. I loved how she would greet me with a smile and “Hi sweetheart” and ask me to sit down and tell her what was new. Her hugs were so warm and filled with so much love. She and my daughter Naia had a special bond since the day they met. Naia would sit with Nana (she was Nana to Naia) in her apartment and watch the Lawrence Welk Show together, or sit at the table and eat snacks, or play games at her table, it didn’t matter to Naia what they did—as long as they were together. If Naia was having a bad day, all she had to do was walk into Nana’s apartment and all was well with the world again. I’m so grateful for the all the time that George, Naia, and I were able to spend with her. We miss her dearly, but have many wonderful memories that will keep her with us always.
